Fall Update 2019

We've been busy through the end of summer. Keeping an eye on trade shows like GenCon and Spiel Essen. We hope to attend conventions like these to bring our games for everyone to enjoy and give us feedback face to face. In the short term we are looking to attend conventions in the Colorado region prior to the big conventions.

General Meow! Status:

We are down to the last few pieces of art left in production. Our goal is to get some alpha sets produced for another round of play testing over the holidays. Speaking of gifts, here is another sneak peek at art, enjoy!

Fisherman’s Chess Status:

Play tests have gone well within our test groups. However, truth in lending… None of us are chess masters or anywhere close to that level. So, before we continue with pursuing the physical game, we are working on developing an AI and teaching it to play Fisherman’s Chess. Eventually we would like to open the game up digitally, so that players interested could try their hand at a game versus various difficulties of AIs.

As you can imagine, this requires a little bit of infrastructure and development on our side. Our hardware stack is coming together. Next will be to develop the digital version of the game to a maturity where an AI can begin training and give us some feedback on expert level game interactions. Lastly, we would need to finish development to enable one of the players to be human and choose an appropriate agent to play against. Plenty of work ahead of us, but thankfully its all within our wheelhouse of skills.
